Asklepios – together with all companies belonging to the group – is one of the largest private hospital groups and healthcare providers in Germany, operating in a sensitive area: healthcare.
We are aware of our responsibility towards patients, employees, society and the environment.
With the healthcare mission entrusted to our hospitals, we perform an important and responsible role. People are always at the center of this role. This applies equally to patients and employees.
Our actions are focused on the recovery of the patients entrusted to us, the maintenance of their regained health, and prevention in order to ensure and permanently improve people's health.
It is essential for us to ensure the best possible medical quality of patient care in the interests of the patients entrusted to us and in compliance with the enormous legal regulations imposed on us by economic efficiency requirements.
Asklepios has therefore made the principle of highest integrity the benchmark for all internal and external actions. Integrity, trust, and loyalty are guiding principles that shape and determine the leadership style and conduct of our employees toward one another.
These principles are intended to help achieve the goals set by Asklepios and to cover investment gaps in the states and underfunding. An important element here is the management philosophy practiced by Asklepios in line with the overall corporate principles. This is a sign of the company's trust in its employees. Asklepios expects every employee to fulfill the responsibilities assigned to them independently and selflessly. This management style is based on trust, relies on loyalty and assumes that employees will not abuse the trust placed in them.
Our managers bear a special responsibility due to their role model function, which they fulfill by behaving in an impeccably lawful manner. In an environment characterized by competition, high demands on economic activity, and constant change, compliance with rules is essential.
The Group's management is therefore committed to ensuring that the principles set out in these principles of conduct are implemented and actively practiced throughout the Asklepios Group on a sustainable basis.
