Every year, approximately 65,000 examinations are performed in our Radiology / X-ray Institute for about 13,500 patients with the most different indications. Equipment and methods corresponding to the latest level of technology provide the basis for an exact diagnosis. This is a crucial prerequisite for the success of subsequent treatment, particularly in cases involving complex syndromes, e.g. rheumatic disorders.
Our modern equipment also permits special radiograms, such as total spinal column X-rays.
Main Treatment Priorities:
Projection X-rays:

Special examinations for orthopedics and for rheumatology concerning adults
Special examinations for orthopedics concerning children and teenagers, for example examinations in cases of hip dysplasia and scoliosis

Computer tomography:

The complete spectrum of whole-body computer tomography
Bone density measurement (sQCT and DXA.)

We routinely perform the administration of intravenous contrast media necessary for CT - examinations by injector, so that a maximum contrast image is achieved under optimal dosage of the contrast medium, and burdening the patient with unnecessarily high contrast medium quantities is avoided.
